o known as T.I. was
Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., als on born September 25, 1980 in Atlanta GA. T.I. has four kid’s three boys and one girl. Their names are Messiah Ya Majesty Harris, Domani Uriah Harris, Dejan Iman Harris, and King C'Andre Harris. He’s not only known for his rapping career but he’s also an actor, songwriter and he has gotten into some trouble over the years. I think T.I. is the sexiest rapper there is. I also love T.I. music and his acting.
In 2006 T.I. starred in his first film, ATL where he played the role as Rashad, a 17-year-old senior in high school getting ready to graduate who runs into some family and relationship problems. When ATL came out my friends and I went to go see it at the movies. Of all of the movies T.I. has been in, this was my favorite. It really caught my attention. In 2007 T.I. played as Stevie Lucas in American Gangster. He didn’t have a big roll in this movie as he did in his first one, but it was a good movie also. In 2010 T.I. is going to be in another movie called Bone Deep. There’s not much about the movie yet but I read on imdb.com that it’s going to be about a group of bank robbers “finding their $20 million dollar plan interrupted by a hard-boiled detective.”
On October 9, 2001 T.I. released his first album I’m Serious with Arista Records. The album did not sell very well, and he was dropped from the label. After T.I. was dropped from that label he decided to create a video on YouTube. He also released several mix tapes with the help of DJ Drama. In 2003 T.I. released his second album Trap Muzik with a new record company called Grand Hustle Records. The album came in at number four, and sold 109,000 copies in its first week. While on tour, T.I. was charged with violating his probation for a 2003 drug charge, and was sentenced to three years in prison. While he was in prison, he was granted rights to film one of his music videos for his song Let's Get Away. It sold over 1 million copies in the U.S. and was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
In 2004 T.I. released his third album Urban Legend with Grand Hustle Records. In 2006, T.I. received two Grammy Award nominations for Best Song Collaboration. He also got a Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance for his song “U Don't Know Me” at the 48th Gammy Awards. In 2006 T.I. released his fourth album, King. Who came in at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in the first half of 2006. He sold over 522,000 copies in its first week. Some of the songs off the CD also were the music in his Movie, ATL. His song “What You Know” won a Best Rap Solo Performance and was nominated for Best Rap Song at the 49th Grammy Awards.
On July 3, 2007 T.I. released his fifth album T.I. vs. T.I.P.. This CD sold 468,000 copies in the United States and became number one on the Billboard 200. This was one of T.I.’s first albums without producer DJ Toomp On September 30, 2008, T.I. released his sixth album Paper Trail. This record came in at number one on the Billboard 200. T.I. sold 568,000 copies in the United States. One of his songs called “Live Your Life” featuring Rihanna jumped from #80 to the #1 spot. T.I. broke his own record on the Billboard Hot 100.
In 1998 T.I. was on probation for violating a state controlled and for giving false information. He violated his probation in several counties around Georgia for offenses ranging from possession of a firearm and marijuana. In 2006 T.I. threatened a man outside a strip club. T.I. also was arrested on an outstanding probation violation warrant from Florida. In 2003 he was accused for assaulting a female sheriff deputy at University Mall in Tampa, Florida. Shortly after he was arrested he was released on bail.
In 2007 T.I. was arrested again and was charged with two felonies for possession of three unregistered machine guns and two silencers, and possession of firearms by a convicted felon. On October 26, 2007 he went to court and the judge posted a $3 million dollar bond, $2 million in cash and $1 million in equity on property he owns. The only people that could live with him were his girlfriend and his kids. Any one other then his girlfriend or kids had to be approved by the court. After awhile T.I. pleaded guilty to US federal weapons charges and served a year in jail. In the end T.I. had a lot of hard times in his life but to me he’s still the best rapper alive.

Puritanism lit 11
The Puritans believed in four different things. Total Depravity, Unconditional Election, Limited Atonement, and Perseverance of the "saints". Total Depravity is that everyone is a sinner because of Adam and Eve's falls and that everyone is going to hell because of it. Unconditional Election means that god only saves those he wishes and only a few are selected for salvation. The puritans believes that Jesus didn't die for us but he died for the chosen and this is called Limited Atonement. Perseverance of the saints means those elected by God have full power to interpret the will of god.
In the sinners of god Jonathan Edwards believed that all humans were sinners and no matter what they were all going to hell. There were people who didn't care if Jonathan Edwards was telling the truth or not. There also were some people who pretended to be religious and felt like that was a way for them to be protected. In Edwards' eyes the only reason god hasn't sent them to hell is because he's chosen to save them, but when god gets angry enough he will send them to hell.
Jonathan explains how hell is a fiery place that you go to when you dont beleive what he beleives. He says that there is notheing between you and hell and the power of god is the only thing that holds you above the pit. What really tripped me out is when he was speaking of hell like an actual place in the core of the earth.

Writing Four
Today in my Literature 10 class my teacher Mr.Siegmund and I had a slight disagreement about the McDonald’s monopoly game on the internet. “I think the monopoly game is a rip-off and it’s just a way for them to make more money at McDonald’s,” my teacher told me. At first I thought he could be right, but after thinking about it for awhile I’ve been playing this game since day one and I feel like I could really be a winner. I do eat at McDonald’s just about every other day to get the codes, and it’s got me a long way in the game. In order for me to win this game there are a number of monopoly pieces I would have to collect to win a certain amount of money. Each time I purchase certain products I get a piece. After thinking about it, I don’t think it’s a rip-off. In the past year there have been three people that have won the monopoly game. One of them is Travis W from St.Louis, MO, and he won $1 million. Another is Lina C from Brooklyn, NY and she won $25, 000 and Ashley L won $50,000. There’s probably way more people out there that have won and by knowing that it shows not only me, but the people that don’t believe in the game that you can actually win and that its really not a rip-off. I continue to play and hope that I could be one of the new 2008 winners this year.
Even though I may eat at McDonald’s every other day, I was eating there way before the game came out anyway. The thought of me having a chance to win that money triggered me to go there constantly. Every time I play it seems like I get closer to $100,000 dollars, and one of these days I probably will as long as I keep eating at McDonalds. My mom and my brother also eat McDonalds constantly but they are some of the many people that say the game’s a rip-off so I get lucky and keep the game pieces, which give me an even bigger chance of winning. Also you have to remember there are over 13,000 McDonalds in the U.S. so you can pretty much find pieces anywhere.
The other reason why I don’t think it’s a rip-off is because; even if I were to go out of town I could still play the monopoly game on my cell phone. They have a number that I can use so I can just send the codes. In order for me to play the game on my phone I would have to put in my cell number when I’m entering the monopoly game. So whenever I go out of town or can’t get to a computer all I have to do is play the game on my cell phone which makes it easier to play. Instead of us having to save every piece, we can now keep an account on the computer that saves the codes which makes it a lot easier. To me, it’s a really fun game to play but knowing that I could play it anywhere makes it even better since some people either don’t have a cell phone or a computer. With all of this being said I respect everybody’s opinion about the game because no matter what I say I know it probably won’t change it. But mine will remain the same because I believe that I can actually be a winner.
Instead of looking at it as a big rip-off there are many other things to look at. Like I said in my paragraphs above there are some people who have won the monopoly game. And I feel like McDonald’s is really giving us customers a chance to win some of the money we do spend, instead of them taking our money, because I know that the people that are playing this game were eating at McDonald’s before the monopoly game came about. Not only is it a fun game but they also give us a chance to get free food from the pieces. I feel like McDonalds isn’t trying to make us spend more money then we usually would because when the game is over people are going to continue to eat there. Even if I don’t win the game this year I will also continue eating at McDonald’s and hope for better luck next year.

Short Story Three
I read A Good Man Is Hard To Find by Flannery O'Connor and its about a grandmother, her son and his family taking a trip to florda. The grandmother really didnt want to go to Florida after she read the newspaper about a man who called his self the misfit aloose from jail headed to florda. Instead she tryed to convence her son Bailey to change his mind and take a trip to Tennessee, but he didnt want to listen. The next morning the grandmother was the first one in the car ready to go with her cat in a basket. After a while the children June Star, John Wesley, Bailey, Bailey's wife and their youngest baby got into the the car and off they went.
For lunch they stopped at The Tower For Barbecue Sandwiches and disscussed the misfit while they ate. When they left the grandmother recalled an old plantation that she remembered in the neighborhood they were passing by. When the grandmother got done describing how the plantation look John Wesley and June Star was very excited and wanted to go see it. So they begged their dad to turn around to go and see the plantation. Their dad "Bailey" gave in and said he would take them, but that was going to be the last time they stopped for something like that. So Bailey turned the car around and headed back for the dirt road they had passed for the plantation.
When they got onto the dirt road the grandmother had a horrible thought come to her. Soon after that the cat jumped out the basket onto Bailey's shoulder and made him have an accident. The car turrned over once and landed right side up in a ditch. Once the kids figured out they could move they jumped out the car and the grandmother was under the dashboard hoping she was hurt so that Bailey wouldn't be mad at her, because the horrible thought she had was that the plantation she rememered was not in Georgia but in Tennessee. Hoping that someone would pass by them soon a car pulled up with three men inside it.
When the mens got up closer to them the grandmother realized that she knew one of the men and it was the misfit. The Misfit told Bailey that the other two men Hiram and Bobby Lee wanted to ask him and John "Bailey's son" a question and would they take a walk with them in the woods. Once they got in the woods theyr'e were two gun shoots made. when the two men got back Bailey and John wasn't with them. Then the two men took Bailey's wife and the other two kids with them to the back of the woods and shot them too. Before they got back the misfit and the grandmother was having a convesation and she touched him and he jumped back and shot her three times in the chest.
This was a good story I didn't expect for it to end the way it did it was very intresting. It was also sad how they killed them the way they did especially the children. Instead of killing them the way he did i think the misfit and his crew could of at least thought and took in consideration of the kids. If Bailey would of listened to his mother before they took there trip they probably would still be alive but if the grandmother would of remembered that the house was in Tennesse and not in Georgia they still could be alive too. Well i really liked this story hopfully i could find another one that instrest me like this one.

My trip to california
My trip to California
My trip to California to see my older sister and her husband renew their vows was the best trip I’ve ever had. Me and my two little sisters and our dad went to Atlanta Georgia to catch a plane. We had to leave our house at 4:00a.m.When we got to Atlanta we had to stop at my stepmother’s brother’s house to pick him up so we wouldn’t have to leave the car at the airport for the time we were going to be gone. When we arrived at the airport it seemed like there were millions of people there walking and even some running. Before we got ready to get on the airport train we stopped and got something to eat, and the breakfast tasted pretty good for it not to be my mom’s cooking.
When we got off of the mini train we were on our way to get on the plane. But before we got that far we had to go through a lot of metal detectors. I could see our suit case going through the line following behind the others. We got our stuff, and on the plane we went. I must admit I was kind of scared I had never been on a plane before. The seats were three in a row and narrow. Once everybody got everything settled and seated the plane was ready for take off. When the plane picked up speed to lift us up in the air one of my little sisters looked like she seen a ghost and started crying. Me on the other hand had a smile so big it went from ear to ear.
While we were on our five hour trip the waitresses were dressed up in their navy blue skirts and pants with a light blue shirt button down the middle passing out drinks and snacks. Me and some of the passengers were watching a movie and the others were either asleep or going back and forward to the restroom. I was scared to get out my seat but I had to use the restroom, so I got up and went anyway. When I got in there it was small, and as soon as I locked my door the bell came on in the plane for everybody to be seated and buckled up. The plane started rocking a little bit so; I rushed back to my seat.
When I got back to my seat my little sister had let the screen up to look out the window. When I looked out the window it looked like we were floating on top of the clouds -- it was so beautiful. When it was almost time for us to land we could see the car on the ground they looked like little ants moving trough traffic. Once we landed it was a big thump. We got all our stuff and walked off the plane into the airport. We were in Orange County, California but my sister stayed in Corona. So when we got to the airport we had to go and rent a car. The car we rented was a red four door Pontiac it was just enough room four the five of us to ride.
Once we got into the car and was ready to ride, the sites of California was very beautiful the trees were like palm trees just like the ones in Miami Florida. When we got to my sister house she was shocked to see us because she wasn’t expecting us to come. She ran and jumped on our dad and gave all of us big hugs. Her husband had set it up for us to come that’s how my dad knew where he was going. The houses up there are so close together. They don’t have a full yard, instead they have a back and a front yard.
After we sat and chatted with them we left to go and get a room at a hotel. The room was so pretty, and it felt like we were at home. We had sofas, beds, and a refrigerator. The next day we went back to my sister’s house to figure out what we had to do for the renewal of their vows. After we found out, my older sister, my nephew, and I took a trip to Inglewood, Los Angeles, three hours away from where she stayed, to go and see her mom whom I hadn’t seen for a long time. When we got there, she introduced me to her sister who is the same age as me. She was skinny, with long straight hair, and she wore a blue T-shirt with her picture on it. We hung out a little bit before I left and went back to the hotel with my dad and sisters.
The next day was the big day -- my sister wore a beautiful white sparkly dress that hung down to her ankles so her glass slippers could show. Her husband had on his black tuxedo with his shiny white shoes. After the ceremony and everyone had eaten, it was time for the cake. The cake was three layers with strawberries in the middle. That was the best tasting cake I ever had. Although I wished we could of stayed a little longer I had fun and I hope to go back this summer. That’s why this trip to California was the best trip I’ve ever had.

The March To Montgomery
I read The March To Montgomery by John Lewis and its mainly about African American people being able to have the right to vote. After Lyndon Baines Johnson became president of the united states the black people wasn't able to vote. Because of this Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Reverned Ralph Abernathy, Andrew Young and John Lewis " The writer" came up with a plan to try and win rights for blacks to vote. They decided that they would march from Selma, Alabama to Montogomery, Alabama.
Even though the SCNN Would'nt allow it to happen there were people coming from all over to join the march. They met outside the church to get ready for the march. Everyone lined up and as they started to march once they got to the Alabama River there were state troopers every where, But they decided to keep marching thinking that they was'nt going to hurt them but just arrest them. Instead the troopers attacked them leaving lots of people down on the ground. the next day they tryed again, but when they got to the river they were turned back.
Afterward The President went on television and made a speech. He Called the
Military to protect them. At Night they had lights up in the fields where they were staying they also had someone responsible for preparation of food. It took them four to five days to get to Montogomery. When they made it there everyone gathered together in front of Saint Jude's School and church. The next morning they marched down the street of Montgomery to the capital and by the time they got there they had over thirty thousand people behind them.
Over all I really like this story. It reminded me of my dad running the torch one year and had a lot of people behind him but the only diffrents was he didnt have people attacking them. I think it was sad how they were treated even if they wasnt suppose to be marching the state troopers didnt have to hurt them. I believe that they could of handled it better then they did. I also felt sorry for them cause i feel like they shouldnt have had to go through the pain they had to go through.

I am sixteen years old and I have a daughter that is a year and four months old. Her name is Alyssa, but we call her Saniya. I attend school here at PLC and my daughter attends the daycare center here too. Last week was my first week back in school. I haven’t been to school since November of last year so I’m kind of excited to be back on track and to catch up on my school work.
My first year at Clarke Central high School I became pregnant. It was very stressful having morning sickness and not wanting to get up in the morning. I was always late or tardy to class. The rules at Clarke central was very strict on the number of tardys we got three tardys in one class equal one absent and we could only miss eight days in a semester. I missed a lot of school during the beginning of my pregnancy and didn’t get any credits for my first semester.
After Christmas break we all came back to school and I was five months pregnant. Although I didn’t get any credit for the first semester I knew I had to work extra hard second semester. So that meant that I had to do extra work to get back on track. I made sure I did all my work and turned it all in on time, I also had my teachers and my parents to helping me out. By march of that semester I was seven months pregnant, and almost got all my credits for that semester until I failed one class.
I went to school up until April 4, 2007. My due date was April 9, 2007, but I went into labor April 5, 2007 at 4:30 that morning. I didn’t get to the hospital until 8:30 cause I wanted to wait until my mom got off work so she could take me to the hospital. When I got there my doctor was delivering another baby so while I was waiting for her they put me in this room where I could relax. Before she could get to me my pain got even worse.
By 9:40 the doctor came in to check on me, and I was already 6 centimeters dilated. It seem like the pain was getting worse by the minute, but before the doctor could take my blood and put my IV in good I felt like the baby was ready to come. The doctor checked me again and I was 10 centimeters dilated. I had my baby at 10:04 a.m.
School ended at the end of May so I really didn’t get to go back after I had the baby. A week after school let out I went to mini-mester to try and pass the class I didn’t past that semester. Saniya was almost two mouths old, but her dad kelp her while I went to school. I passed lit/comp 9 in mini-mester so when I started school in august I had all my credits to be a 10th grader.
I went back to school when school started. Saniya was four months old. And by that time that’s when all the stress I was having came back to haunt me. Instead of the morning sickness holding me back I had to stay at home some days because I didn’t have any money to pay for daycare. I missed a lot of days of school for my first semester so even if I did pass all my classes I wasn’t getting any credits so I dropped out. I was planning on going back the next semester, but I got so use to being home taking care of my own baby I decided not to go back.
When school started back this semester I stopped being lazy and came to classic city and fill out the application to attend the school, and the next day I came and took the test. When I first looked at the test I didn’t think I was going to pass it cause I hadn’t seen any school work for eight months, but I did. Since the school has daycare and saniya is one now I can come to school like am suppose to and still graduate on time.
Short Story one
I read A Worn Path by Eudora Welty and its about this older lady name Phoenix jackson she wore a dark color dress that came down to her feet and had blue eyes. she walked trough the woods to get to the hospital in order to get some medication for her granson, Who has been sick for two or three years now. on her journey she ran across some very mean and disrespectful people. There was one man who poited a gun at her. But when she got into town there was a nice lady who tied both of her shoes for her.
When she got into the hospital the lady at the front desk was kinda mean to Phoenix she called her names and asked her was she deaf. I think that its a good story over all i enjoyed reading it. I liked how the writer used her descrption it felt like i was watching a movie espeacially in the begin when she described how her long black dress got caught on a thorny bush. I could see what the writer was talking about. Thats why i enjoyed reading this story.
When i got to the end of the book i was kinda disappointed. They left me hanging at the end and i wish they could of gave me more details of what happen when she left the hospital. Like did she make it back home without being intemedated by the people in the wood again or did she make it home safely and did the the medicine work for her granson and did he live. Other then that the story was good.
